Capuco Consulting Services staff of environmental and education
professionals develop and lead hands-on programs for children
and adults that emphasize environmental awareness and local history.
In addition, CCS designs and develops multidisciplinary curriculum materials
on topics ranging from navigation to plant identification.
- Programs at the Osprey Nature Center. CCS holds a series of environmental programs at the City of Annapolis’ Back Creek Nature Park for ages four to adult, including summer day camp and after school programs. CCS also leads a variety of field programs at the park on topics ranging from I Spy a Tree to What Annoys an Oyster for your school group, corporation, scout troop or other group. These programs can be combined for a fun-filled full or half day, or can be incorporated with a team building component.

- Curriculum Development. When provided with the
subject and grade level, CCS will develop curriculum materials that meet the needs of both students and teachers. CCS recently developed online lesson plans—Learning Adventure on the High Seas—featuring the around the world Volvo Ocean Race. www.oceanreaceadventure.net
- Field Programs. Working with the Hagerstown-Washington County Conference and Visitors Bureau, Capuco Consulting Services, Inc. has developed and delivers 90-minute interpretative historic walking tours of the downtown Hagerstown area. The tours focus on the Colonial, Civil War and industrial history of this unique Maryland city.
