City of Annapolis' Back Creek Nature Park

 Previously, Back Creek Nature Park was an underutilized and little known city
 treasure. Now it is being used by community members and visitors regularly.

 Capuco Consulting worked with the city to develop site plans for the park
 including nature trails, converting a historic waterworks building into a
 nature center and developing environmental education programs to be
 taught at the park. Specifically, Capuco Consulting:

• Wrote and developed a fundraising/grant brochure to communicate the city's plans for the park
• Assisted the city in grant writing and applications
• Developed signage placed in the park explaining the park's significance in the Chesapeake Bay's ecosystem
• Helped develop the waterworks building into the Osprey Nature Center
• Developed a series of environmental education programs at the park for school age children and adults
• Conducts environmental education programs at the park including school field trip programs and summer camp day programs
